Canticos
Canticos was built on the belief that two languages make the world twice as big and twice as fun. Early childhood is the ideal time to introduce a second language, as kids naturally absorb new information like sponges. We used the universal appeal of nursery rhymes to teach not just early literacy and math concepts but also to share the richness of culture. Through song and dance, we aimed to create cross-generational bonds, passing down these beloved songs while building social skills in children.
Canticos combines the magic of nursery rhymes with the benefits of bilingualism, creating an innovative learning experience that enriches children’s lives.
My pivotal role in Canticos was the creation of the whole brand universe that then was translated in everything we created, where I strived to find the perfect balance between education, playfulness, and simplicity, becoming a cornerstone of the brand's principles. Every aspect of Canticos, from the physical products, animations, website, marketing materials, social media content, and campaigns, bore my creative imprint.
Animated series
I art directed the Canticos animated series, ensuring it aligned with the brand's educational and playful spirit, which led to an Daytime Emmy nomination and numerous awards that followed. Canticos brought the tradition and culture of nursery rhymes to families through lovable characters and fun sing-alongs that everyone can enjoy in both English and Spanish, offering an innovative bilingual learning experience.

Central to Canticos' vision, the app uses traditional nursery rhymes and songs to immerse children in Spanish, resonating with Spanish-speaking families and introducing language learners to childhood classics. My role involved working closely with the product team, shaping the vision, co-creating the games and activities, and art directing the UX/UI design to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. I also led the creation of all marketing campaigns and materials to drive app downloads. The app features games that teach letters, phonics, numbers, and emotional awareness, all developed by bilingual educators.
