Skeletina
For the Skeletina brand, I took on a multifaceted role that included brand design, marketing, and strategic content development. I created a brand and visual universe for Skeletina, a girl that lives in the In-between world where children go when they sleep, she knows this world very well and has trained herself to deal with the spooky-kooky characters and upside-down, inside out happenings that go on and has a friendly relationship with the “beings” that live there.

I designed both books Skeletina and the In-Between World and Skeletina and the Greedy Thoothfary to reflect the essence of Skeletina's adventures, blending the enchanting narrative with striking visuals to capture the spirit of this imaginative world. Working alongside award-winning author and illustrator Susie Jaramillo, whose vision empowers kids to reclaim their dreams and unlock the extraordinary possibilities of the In-Between World, I played a key role in shaping the book's visual impact. While Susie's beautiful pencil black-and-white illustrations laid the foundation, I had the privilege of applying color and texts to the pages, adding layers of magic that brought the characters and their surroundings to life. The lettering for the logo was in charge of the super talented Mek Frinchaboy.
To bring the magic of Skeletina's world to life online, I designed the website to be an interactive experience that mirrors the whimsy and wonder of the In-Between World. One of its most enchanting features is the Dream Machine, a playful invitation for kids to transform their restless dreams into thrilling adventures. Children are encouraged to share a dream that’s been keeping them up, and in return, they receive a personalized email from Skeletina herself, reimagining their scary dream as an exciting story filled with bravery and fun. This feature not only deepens engagement with young fans but also empowers them to see their fears in a whole new light.
I led the development of Skeletina’s voice across digital platforms, managing the marketing content and social media strategy to bring her playful and empowering message to life. Through thoughtfully crafted content and visually engaging designs, I helped grow a community of young fans and their families, encouraging them to embrace their fears with creativity and imagination.
We designed the special products for the gift boxes that were sent to influencers and used at events and book launches. These boxes were curated to capture the spirit of Skeletina, creating a memorable unboxing experience that resonated with influencers and event attendees alike, spreading Skeletina’s magical world even further.
