In collaboration with illustrator Susie Jaramillo, I created a brand proposal for Betsy Bird, a prominent figure in children's literature. Though this project never fully came to life, it’s one that I’m proud to showcase. The inspiration for the brand was drawn from Betsy's recognizable strong features, using her face as a focal point. We paired this with the clean, approachable design of traditional library cards, evoking a sense of simplicity and nostalgia. The goal was to create a visual identity that was both distinctive and inviting, reflecting Betsy's deep roots in the literary world.
