for a hot sauce.
PROPOSAL
For Trinche, I developed a bold and playful brand identity inspired by the mischievous spirit of "El Diablito," a character played by Eugenio Derbez known for his cheeky, double-meaning remarks and knack for testing people's patience. The name "Trinche," which comes from the Spanish word for trident, became the core element of the design, symbolizing the fiery and daring nature of the hot sauce.
Drawing from the flames of hell and the iconic trident El Diablito always carries, I created a dynamic type treatment that embodies both heat and attitude. The visual identity centers on three distinct designs, each differentiated by color to represent the unique recipes of each sauce. The result is a brand that feels playful yet intense, capturing the essence of Trinche’s bold flavor and rebellious character.
